Dignity and Due Diligence for the Unclaimed
Currently there are over 16 thousand documented Unclaimed Persons in the United States. A good portion of these individuals lived homeless or transient lifestyles, they may have suffered from mental illnesses, drug addictions, alcohol dependence, had criminal histories or other afflictions that have caused estrangement from their families. When an agency is investigating this type of case it can take their investigators hours/ days/ or even weeks to locate family. Medical Examiner offices, Law Enforcement agencies, hospitals, nursing homes, hospice agencies, funeral homes and other organizations working with this specific demographic are already having issues with staffing shortages and an increased workload. They lack funding for investigative software or employment of a specialized person making these cases almost impossible to complete in a timely and diligent manner. Unfortunately, the result of these shortcomings in the industry has led to thousands being labeled as “Unclaimed”, buried in mass graves or cremated and placed on a shelf for decades.

Our mission is to eradicate the notion of an “Unclaimed Person”. We want to ensure all persons are dignified and receive an equal due diligence search for their families at the time of death. In order to achieve this we will partner with agencies to help alleviate workloads, and cut costs for extended storage and time spent on these cases.
We have recognized an issue and are doing what we can to address it, but we are going to take it one step further. Not only do we work with these agencies for deceased individuals, but we also work with them for the living who are unable to communicate or those who are imminent and have claimed to have no family. We can provide the same service and assist in getting in touch with families to get affairs in order. Thus, preventing the continual growth of the Unclaimed Persons.

Our hope is to provide closure for the many families who have been left wondering what happened to their loved ones, and our promise to you is to continually advocate for this demographic and be their Voice After Life.
